    1. A mix of so many books I have read in the past, largely borrows from Harry Potter and another character sketch from CS Lewis books. Please be original.

    2. Krish and his best friend Sid live in the picturesque town of Nainitaal. Sid is an orphan, while Krish lives with his mother and loves her a lot. The boys are 10 and 11 yrs old and are very naughty, but are good at heart. The description of all these things make us actually visualize all this, and we develop an immediate bond with all the characters. The story is fantastic, while the climax made me bite my nails with anticipation about what's going to happen next. Good imagination. However, the [...]

    3. I was little skeptical about it at the beginning as I have never been much interested in the childhood fantasy genre. But reading Krishna and the lake of souls was a delight, probably because it was different. It was everything that childhood really is, notorious and innocent at its core plagued with the mystery and magic. The characters were simple and easy to connect. The story perfectly weaved, that uncovers slowly getting us deeper in the magical touch. The thing that captivated me most was [...]

    4. 5. The book is the whole thing that childhood if truth be told is, iniquitous and innocent at its inner part, snowed under with the air of mystery and the inexplicable, the story without blemish interlace, that come across little by little getting us profound in a mystic experience.

    6. A very nice book! Nice story line and yes could go slow from the second half, like the first half.Just finished the book over the weekend. It made me read through till the last page without much breaks! The story is catchy and compels one to go till the end. So, I would say, the story achieves its purpose of holding the reader. The story line is very nice and interesting too. Some places, I felt Sid reacting amateurishly when called orphan. And the words like, "no fault of his" etc tries to gain sy [...]

    8. This is one of those books which had me glued to it from the first page itself.I have observed that not many Indians read fantasy, and almost negligible read fantasies by an Indian author, I am sure this book is a beginning towards changing this jinx.Heroics of an 11year old were a fascinating thing, and the way it has been narrated is an awesome work done by the author.I am very sure we have a very successful author in making.Although I did find something which I feel could have been better. An [...]

    10. Yes the book is amazing. India does not offer such magnitude of vivid flight of imagination . The Author Anurag Bhatt clearly smitten by the fact that India lacks such writer has cleverly embarked upon the opportunity - he can be declared India's first Fantasy writer for kids. He has very pictorially outlined the scenes of the story. The scenes appear real in front of the eyes and in actual portray a realistic view of an unreal story. The innocence woven around the protagonist and the other char [...]

    11. Amazing fantasy is written by the author in this novelAlthough it is a nice fantasy specially written for the child, the language which is used in the story is quite simple, many mysteries have been seen in the story and many have been left out for its sequel, i guessLots of suspense is there in the storyHope I would be able to lay my hands upon its sequel soon.
