    1. Good book with lots of action. Hunter had fallen hard for Erin two years ago, but with his job he couldn't risk having a family. When he found out she was pregnant he worked to keep an eye on her and his son to make sure they were safe. When he discovers that they are the focus of a terrorist plot he knows he has to save them. Unfortunately Erin wants nothing to do with the man who lied to her.I liked Hunter a lot. He tried very hard to do the right thing and keep Erin and his son safe. He felt [...]

    2. I read many in the Harlequin Intrigue series but I keep few of them. This one is a keeper, though that's not obvious at first. The author effectively uses a technique called en media res ("in the middle") to jump start the story and it doesn't lack for action from that point forward. It does, however, make the main characters more difficult to appreciate. The male antagonist comes across as shallow and unfeeling ---your typical macho man who needs no one --- and the female as a stereotyped lab sm [...]

    3. Another great action packed, peril all around romance. Lots of characters back in this latest edge of your seat book. Hunter had one week in paradise with a beautiful scientist. But when that week was over he walked away because there can be no family with his job. He finds out that Erin got pregnant from that week but still doesn’t go to her just watches her from afar. When he gets word that she and his son are going to be kidnapped for the ground breaking medical research she was doing he ki [...]

    4. I really enjoyed this story. The plot sucked me, and it was so hard to put down, when I had to go to work. The suspense was really good, and I enjoyed the action, and romance.I really loved the way Hunter risked his own life, and also his heart to keep Erin and his son safe. He made some hard decisions, which no one should ever have to make. Brandon stole my heart in this story. He was a cute little baby boy. No matter what they were going through he was fine as long as his mother Erin was nearb [...]

    5. Wow!! Totally blew me away. I fell in love with Erin and hunter right away. I really connected with Hunter and his struggle to keep Erin and Brandon safe. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes action and romance!! Another amazing book by robin perini!

    6. "Top Pick! Perini's action-packed, terrifying tale grips the reader from the first sentence and doesn't let go until the final climatic page." RT Book Reviews, rated 4 1/2 stars

    7. I love the mercenary, Black Ops type of books. This one had the action and very likable characters, but some of the situations did not work out well for me. It was hard to get realistic situations with a baby involved. I liked Erin, even though she is a genius, she did a few stupid things. I really liked Hunter. There were parts that needed improvement, but all in all it is worth reading. This is book 4 in the CTC series. I think I would have enjoyed it more if I had read in them in order. I wil [...]

    8. Well, it did require some suspension of disbelief, but it was ok. Pretty good pacing, more-or-less believable characters (if not situations). Decent romantic elements. Good plot twists - I actually had the wrong "bad guy" picked out!Clearly part of a grouping of books with common characters. I think I may want to find the one where Logan becomes the Prince Consort - now *that* sounds like a tale.

    9. Undercover Texas by Robin Perini is a very good book. Lots of action and suspense. Kept you on your toes. A thriller. Black Ops soldier, Hunter Graham knows he can't have a family. Too dangerous. He goes on vacation. Meets Erin Jamison. They have a fling. He leaves. She has his son. International terrorist are after her because of her job. Hunter will do anything to keep Erin and his son safe. Lots of action, before it all works out. A good read.

    10. Another great story by Robin Perini. Couldn't put it down. Got so wrapped up in the story I read it all in one sitting.

    11. Well-done storyline with an exciting plot that kept me glued to the book right through to the end. Though the book can be read as a stand-alone without reading the other books in the series, I especially like the fact that major characters and geography in the earlier books played smaller but important roles in this one. For me that adds a lot of depth to the character development and the storyline.
