    1. Great book from a high school friend who lives intentionally and lives well. The clear, honest writing in this book is a breath of fresh air. These are experiences that can help other young married couples frame or think about their own experiences, tips that others can use as well. And as an unmarried person, the book speaks to me through the common theme of forming transparent, vulnerable and strong relationships.

    2. One thought that followed me through this book- they're so young!! If you've been married / living with the same person for longer than their 4 years of marriage (at publication time), you might also get the same feeling. That aside, this book won me over by the end. Olive and Tim are quite candid about their trials and triumphs as a couple and even though some of what is described is best suited to newlyweds, it's still a good reminder of the core values that make a relationship succeed.
