    1. SO I'm not going to rate this boo it's been added to my DNF shelf. Maybe I'd feel differently if I had read books 1 and 2 first, but I HATE Mark. I know right?! How can I hate the guy who was the victim, but my God is he the biggest pushover ever. You canNOT (view spoiler)[bust your significant other cheating, then use his credit card and a cell phone paid for by him to pay for hotel rooms and make phone calls. How stupid are you?! And you keep saying how angry you are and you don't want to talk [...]

    2. While I am admittedly not the targeted demographic for this book (I'm in my mid-late thirties). I do have some feedback about this book:- What the heck happened with the characters? Bill turns into an insensitive @ss, and Mark a pushover- The entirety of the text felt like a diary if every thought were summarized daily into a list of events. What I really wanted to see were the emotional connections of the characters feel them rather than be told them- Too much happened, too quickly. It felt as [...]

    4. This is the third story in the series. More and more things arise to wedge between Mark and Bill's relationship, and this time it feels like there's no going back. One of them is unfaithful. Their lives become incompatible, and as such they drift apart, though their love remains an existing force. Then something horrible strikes Mark's family, and the two men get the chance to step away from the brink. I admit, at this point I totally cried. This still doesn't feel like the end of the story for M [...]

    5. The publisher sent this book to me after ALA Midwinter as a sample of their reads. They sent the third book in the series, so while I understood what was happening for the most part, I was playing a bit of catch up. It did summarize the gist of the previous books, but right off the bat, let me say that I would recommend you read the other books first – it will make a lot more sense. The story is told through Mark’s perspective as he watches his boyfriend on his rise to stardom. I appreciated [...]

    6. 3.5 StarsOkay. I don’t know how to start this review. A Star is Born is book three of the Most Popular Guy in the School Series. I loved book one and two even with their flaws. Many would have given up on the series and moved on to something else, but I kept holding on. The story continues with Mark and Bill. I loved Mark and started to dislike Bill in book two. For some reason, I didn’t believe or trust him. Now, I disliked Mark so much. I love him as a person, don’t get me wrong, but I j [...]

    7. Although I haven't read the first two books of this series, I was intrigued by the blurb enough to pick this one up. I've done this before, which has oftentimes prompted me to read an entire series and made a fan of me. Well, that wasn't the case this time. By the end of this book, I was only able to think, "WTF?" The writing was awkward, repetitive, and just 'fake' feeling; didn't flow at all. I thought Mark was an utter doormat, whose reactions to Bill's betrayal made absolutely no sense. I'm [...]

    8. By the end of this book, I really wished Mark and Bill were my friends in real life. Parts of the book were slow but overall this was a strongly emotional story. I found myself near tears at points and anxious for Mark and Bill's relationship struggles. Very moving and heartwarming.
