    1. "Riptide" by Amber Lea Easton is a gripping and captivating read about the romance between acnhor woman Lauren and screenwriter Noah. Lauren is on holiday on Cayman island recovering from an traumatic 'incident' that happened to her at home. We find out she has been revived but we find out only later the exact nature of her ordeal. Her brother, whom she stays with, is supportive but also a challenge for Lauren's independence. Along comes Noah, with his own complications and past and you have a d [...]

    2. Wow, the hero of this novel--Noah Reynolds--was too hot to handle. Ha! Loved it. This is one of those books that I feel could easily cross genres--perhaps romance, suspense, mainstream, chick lit, women's fiction--not sure how they all get divided, but I can't imagine anyone NOT liking this story. Lauren starts out pretty unsure of herself and it's wonderful to see how she overcomes her doubts in the face of great danger. What a creepy plot! Loved the stalker in this story--even though that soun [...]

    3. **Originally posted @ ReadingDiva's Blog - Rating 4.5 of 5Review: Riptide is a well written modern story that has everything a good Contemporary Romance & Suspense is supposed to have. It has a great plot, one that will make you speculate and will definitely challenge the reader to draw conclusions. The characters felt as if you were witnessing a conversation between close friends. I enjoyed how well the story flowed and how well the characters were developed.Their differences and the circum [...]

    4. Reviewed by my blog for blog hop: queenofthenightreviewsspoRiptide by Amber Lea Easton is a well written, fast paced romantic suspense. With two likable characters, a well thought out mystery and enough romance to keep the story interesting, Ms. Easton grabbed my attention from the first page and never let go. As the action and mystery intensify, Lauren and Noah, who have serious trust issues due to being burned in the past, must work together if they want to stay alive. Watching their romance a [...]

    5. How can you not love a romance that takes place in the Caribbean – Grand Cayman to be exact. Having been to Grand Cayman, even though it was so long ago, reading this novel brought back memories of the sandy beaches, blue water, and the smell of salt in the air; all of which makes me want to be there this very moment as it’s absolutely beautiful. Anyways, back to the novel. “Riptide” is a well-written, fast-paced story with elements of romance, suspense, and mystery with a few twists and [...]

    6. I absolutely LOVED this book. I can't think of anything I didn't like. In fact, I wanted it to keep going. The characters are well-developed, carefully crafted and seemed very real to me. Sizzling love scenes, by the way! Ha. Loved it. The plot is a true psychological suspense where what I thought was about to happen turned out to be completely different, but in a way that made sense as it all unfolded. I see where someone here on wrote that it was a bit too complicated, but I disagree with tha [...]

    7. I love the way this author writes. Every scene felt as if I were transported to Grand Cayman--I could feel the sun, sense the breeze, and definitely felt the passion between Lauren and Noah. Yes, this is a steamy romance, but it is so much more than that. The struggle Lauren goes through after surviving a tremendous trauma while attempting to piece her life together felt incredibly vivid to me. She is a relatable character. I truly rooted for her to see how strong she was and to not sabotage the [...]

    8. Phenomenal novel, one of the best I have ever read. I thought Kiss Me Slowly was good---and it is---but this one topped it. I felt like I was watching a movie, was completely captivated by the characters, the setting and the storyline. As soon as I finished it, I wanted to read it again for the sheer enjoyment of it. I think I miss the characters! It's rare that a book can draw the readers in so well. I can't recommend this highly enough. If you enjoy romance, suspense and excellent writing, the [...]

    9. Very exciting and complex plot. It took a long time for the real personalities of Noah and Lauren to be revealed, but that helped create the suspense of the stories, not to mention all the mysterious events plaguing Noah. Lauren really takings a beating in this one, but I liked how in the end she discovers how strong she is. Loved the character development of Larry too.I did find the plot a little too confusing at times and I also felt like Noah and Lauren had the same conversation with slight v [...]

    10. Both of the main characters are equally compelling, the plot line keeps you guessing (LOVED the twists and turns!), and even the secondary characters were well developed. This is a win-win novel, definitely worth your time and money. Very sexy read without being over-the-top. Can't recommend it high enough, actually.

    11. WOW this book was AWESOME, could not put it down, it had everything, romance, suspense, loved the wonderful trust Noah & Lauren had for each other even after all they had been through. Loved the great ending. This is a MUST read, I thought the first book good, this one blew it out of the water, can you imagine her next book, SIGH !

    12. Up and down with my emotions holy crap! This was an amazing storyI love when both the main characters have issues rather than just the one. I feel like I couldn't put this down!

    13. I see this book has ratings that run from 1 all the way to 5 and all I can say is…I have no idea how anyone couldn't love this story. It has it all from a great setting, fun characters (both main and secondary), creepy stalker suspense plot that really makes you wonder what's going on and who's behind it all, hot love story that seems very real instead of forced, and that little bit of something extra that makes you truly care about the characters. Highly recommend for fans of romance, mysteri [...]

    14. Awesome book--made me want to be right there on Grand Cayman with the characters (minus the crazy stalker, though!) The characters are smart, vivid and realistic. The suspense plot is creepy enough to keep you on the edge of your seat and the author keeps you guessing right up to the end. I LOVE THE ENDING! This is one of those novels that makes you smile, gasp and twist in your seat. I enjoyed every bit of it, can't think of anything negative at all to say. Even the secondary characters were fa [...]

    15. This book has very good suspense. I love the romance, love the characters. The location is lovely to read about and imagine you're there. Glad I read this. Very good. There were about 10 errors or so in the book, which shouldn't happen at all, but unfortunately in this day and age seems to be the norm. It's mostly just missing words. Shouldn't happen, but just saying it wasn't enough to turn me off to the book at least.

    16. It's my book--of course I'm rating it with 5 stars. LOL Hey, it gave me the option! :-) Actually, this book was one of my favorites to write--aren't they all?, you ask. The characters truly found a permanent place in my heart. There were times when writing this novel that I cried because of the riptide of emotions that pulled me out of reality and into the depths of the story. To me, that's the best feeling in the world. It's been getting great feedback from the public and that's a reward beyond [...]

    17. 4.5STARSAmber Lea Easton. This book definitely kept my head from spinning. I was thinking ahead of who, what and huh is going on with Noah. I thoroughly enjoy the whodunnit the mysterious the crazy and the chemistry between Lauren and Noah. This took me on the edge of my seat and since these two bad been through all the drama before hooking up I like how it turned out. Characters alone that are in the book will leave you either hating or annoyed with them.

    18. Can't say enough great things about this book. If you like sexy heroes, a beautiful setting, and a plot that is right out of a movie, then this is the book for you! This writer is a master of suspense and creating a gripping story. The twists and turns blew my mind! Right up to the end, the author keeps you guessing about who's behind the stalking--and it has an exciting ending that left me smiling. I'm still smiling about it! Definitely put it on your TBR list if you like romantic suspense and [...]

    19. I just didn't connect or even like the MCs that much. It wasn't a Hollywood story but the H was involved in that scene and I don't care for that.

    20. I'm a huge lover of suspense novels and romance novels. Riptide combines the best of both genres. The characters are well-developed, there is a creepy suspense plot that keeps us guessing until the end, and is one of those books that I will pull out again and again simply because I enjoyed it so much. And speaking of the endingLOVED IT! So worth it. Twists, turns, a who-is-behind-this plot that keeps you on the edge of your seat and characters that are so much fun I couldn't get enough. It's sma [...]

    21. Pretty god damn intense. But I had a huge problem with how the author had her characters treating their loved ones.

    22. Delightful This is another wonderful read by the very talented Amber Lea Easton. An intriguing romance story between Lauren Biltmore and Noah Reynolds that will keep you glued to the pages. It takes place in the beautiful location of the Caribbean the Grand Cayman. The author does an amazing job in describing the beauty and the loveliness of this majestic location. Through the eyes of her mind I could transport myself at the place and really feel like I was part of the story. As the romance escala [...]

    23. I love a good book that breaks out of any stereotype. Riptide did that for me. There is nothing "cookie cutter" about this dark, complicated, breathtaking, emotionally gripping romantic suspense novel. The stalker is definitely creepy with a twist I never saw coming, which is saying something because I'm an avid thriller reader and love trying to figure out the mystery. The characters are wonderful and I found myself caring deeply for all of them, even the ones who are a bit, shall we say, suspe [...]

    24. I didn't love it nor did I hate it. Lauren is an anchorwoman who had tragedy happen and once things became too hot she fled to the Cayman Islands where her brother has a business and this is where she meets Noah a hot writer. Noah also has a motive and once Lauren finds out their relationship changes. This has drugs, money, murder and sex almost like a Hollywood movie. Nothing bad ever happens in paradise, or does it?

    25. The book started off ok. Liked the characters, their issues, their relationships, etc. Then with 20% of the book left the story takes an awkward turn that threw three new storylines into the mix and then the book just ended. Ugh, would have liked it better if we just stuck with all the characters original issues, we didnt need more drama.
