    1. There may be an updated version of this book, which would probably be full of good information--but my copy was published in 1997 and is too dated. It has lots of clever discussion of allowances and things like that which would still be relevant, but the last half (or maybe third) was about saving for college and life insurance and that sort of thing. Tax caps have changed, UGMA vs UTMA has changed, so that was just not relevant any more. I should have read this book when it was given to me in 2 [...]
