    1. ORIGINALLY POSTED AT: cirquedesgeeks.dreamwidth/ This book was really disappointing. I mean, it could have been good, but No. The art isn't bad! It manages to be ridiculous when it's called called for, and dramatic when it suits the mood. It's got decently clean lines nice contrast. It just feels gratuitous as all hell.Seriously. I've read books twice as explicit and didn't feel half as scummy as I did reading this one. I think it's because one of the recurring gags is "LOL TITS AND PERVERTS ARE [...]

    2. Chuck Austen doesn't write American-style comics very well. Whatever possessed me to think he'd be any better at writing a manga-influenced one? This is a typical Austen T&A fest, waiting to be used by an angry parent as an excuse to get a poor librarian in trouble. 3. Oh! I remember when I got this clearlyI thought it's a manga-mangaXD but well the thing that the story is written by an american it really gives a story a nother "feels". I liked it though, cause I laughed hard at some parts expecially with my friends when I brought this manga with me to schooloh man.e laughs XDDDFor one of my first mangas, which I bought it always be special in a way

    4. You know I agree with another reviews comments on volume 2 of this series. It's like American Pie meets any number of baseball movies. It's actually a really fun read, and too bad Austen never really got to finish it.
