    1. Best one in the series, so far. Mainly because there was a moment when I was actually surprised. I love when a book does that. And, to be honest, it doesn't happen that often because:1. I'm old. Seen it, done it, got the t-shirt, shrunk the t-shirt in the laundry, turned it into a dog t-shirt and took a ton of photos for Facebook.2. I've read a hell of a lot of books. For every book I've reviewed, there are 5 that I read and haven't reviewed. If there is a trope, I have read it.3. I'm not an idi [...]

    2. Marguerite is on her first case as a Private Investigator, accompanied by Tiny. Her first assignment is to locate the mother of a five hundred year old immortal. She is starting her career and is far from the protection of Lucian and her sons for the first time. Marguerite Rocks! After 700 years of life, Marguerite Argeneau finally starts a career. If you've been waiting for Marguerite's story, this is it. It certainly cleared up some questions I've had about this character. Why did she marry Je [...]

    3. Book 9 in Ms. Sands Argeneau Vampire series. This is one of Lynsay Sands best books in the Argeneau series. We finally get to read Marguerite’s story…her whole story that is. On her new career, training to be a PI with Tiny (contracted by Christian Notte to find his long-lost mother), she meets her lifemate Julius Notte (Christian’s father). Someone is trying to kill Marguerite, someone doesn’t want Marguerite and Tiny to succeed, and Julius won’t leave her side to be butchered, litera [...]

    4. I never read books in order haha :) The only other book I've read in this series is "A Quick Bite" so I didn't really know what to expect.I read this book in one sitting and loved every minute of it. It was a perfect balance of love/lust and humor/action/mystery. Perfect to sink your fangs into. Definitely would recommend this series for all paranormal lovers :)

    5. *3.5*The Argeneau series was an integral part of my introduction to PNR. I was delighted to find a group of romance novels that balanced love and lust against hilarity and mayhem. The relationships felt ridiculous yet never unlikely, as Sands made sure to craft compatible leads who were always on equal footing. The romance aspect didn't rely on flowery language, but rather a healthy desire to find someone to be happy with, to love and be loved by. Though the "vampire" conceit she utilizes does h [...]

    6. This book was amazing and had me hooked from start to finish. Marguerite is on her first case as a Private Investigator, accompanied by Tiny. Her first assignment is to locate the mother of a five hundred year old immortal. She is starting her career and is far from the protection of Lucian and her sons for the first time. Waking up to find an assassin with a sword in her room, she realizes someone does not want the mother's identity revealed. I liked reading about Marguerite exploring new terri [...]

    7. Since the beginning of this series I've always loved Marguarite because she's like super young looking and super old with four children, and she acts like a mother that should be in her 50' or 60's but yet again she looks like she's in her late teens early twenties. But they way she is with her kids and having something to do with every single one of them finding their lifemates was quite comical on its own, and quite canny as well. However, I've always also felt so bad for her because of what J [...]

    8. Sigo leyendo estos libros en desorden because why the hell no? El plot twist de la mitad fue interesante porque no me lo esperaba y esta especie de novelas son 200% predecibles.

    9. Am I the only one who felt uncomfortable about Marguerites book? I mean, she's like the mother. Also, this book was rather dissappointing. I didn't understand why Marguerite and Julius were Well, whatever. What I really, really didn't like was the family part. You'd think Marguerite would behave differently, but she doesn't. The end of the book seems too convinient for my tastes, but they always do. 'They' meaning the Argeneau novels.Whatever, Tiny was there and I like Tiny. *dances the Tiny danc [...]

    10. Review: ‘Vampire, Interrupted’ is a dazzling novel that will provide hours of entertainment with the anxiously awaited story of Marguerite Argeneau. Learning to be a private investigator, Marguerite is excited when her first case brings her to England with the task of finding an immortals mother. After someone attempts to behead her while sleeping, she realizes there is more to this case than just finding a missing immortal. Julius Notte wants to protect Marguerite and keep the secrets that [...]

    11. Fantastic! This might be my favorite book in the Argenau novel's!This book centers around family matriarch Marguerite Argeneau. She is currently working as a P.I trying to help Christian Notte discover his long lost mother. His father, Julius, refuses to tell him his mother's name and every P.I he has ever hired, is scared off by Julius.Marguerite is determined to help Christian, and then she is attacked in her hotel room and almost beheaded. Christian's father shows up and ends up revealing tha [...]

    12. Much better book, best of the series so farMarguerite Rocks!Description:After 700 years of life, Marguerite Argeneau finally starts a career. She's training to be a private investigator, and her first assignment is to find an immortal's mother. It seems simple enough, until Marguerite wakes up one evening to find herself at the wrong end of a sword. Now she realizes she's in way over her head. My Thoughts, The story runs parallel to Thomas's story for the most part. This book to me is the most i [...]

    13. First: Skip the family tree at the beginning! It contains a spoiler!!!!Although a fun read, with a lot more mystery and not so much romance, this one is my least favorite so far. It was slow in places, and the lead characters were frustratingly immature at times, despite having several lifetimes of experience. The mystery was kind of compacted into the last 50 pages, complete with a bad guy speech about the hows and whys of the evil plan.Lynsay Sands isn't a bad writer (A+ for the sexy parts!) b [...]

    14. This was another great book in this series. I loved the characters and the personalities. I had laughs, snickers, breath-holding, tension and suspense, some tough spots and some humorous. I really liked getting to know these characters and meeting a few newer ones. There was plenty of suspense and some definitely shockers. I was reading this so fast I was getting cross-eyed. I was drawn in straight from the start and couldn't stop. First it was finger-gripping, then funny, then. What!!!me snicker [...]

    15. Such a tragic love story! Marguerite's story is one with many twists and turns. Marguerite is investigating the birth of Christopher Notte and trying to find his mother for him. She meets Julius Notte and is instantly attracted. They are lifemates. Lifemates that were separated many years ago by a jealous evil person who pretended to be a loving member of their family.Marguerite's memory of Julius and their life together is completely wiped. Julius joins his son Christopher and Marguerite on the [...]

    16. If you've been waiting for Marguerite's story, this is it. It certainly cleared up some questions I've had about this character. Why did she marry Jean Claude in the first place? Why did she stay with him so long?If you haven't been following this series, you may not enjoy this book as much as I did. The series begins with Single White Vampire. If you like Sookie Stackhouse and Queen Betsy, then don't miss this series

    17. OMG!!!!!!! This was the most interesting book with a kick ass story line by lynsay sands , you really learn alot in this story about other characters in the whole series really!!!!!!!I LOVED IT!!

    18. Other than the A Quick Bite, this is the best one in the series so far! Everybody loves Margurite and if you don't than something's wrong with you. LOL

    19. Vampire, Interrupted by Lynsay Sands is a fantasy book about a few vampires, secrets, and action. She wrote this book to say don’t judge and persecute someone without all the facts. Just go with your heart and mind, don’t go on rumors and hatred. GET THE FACTS STRAIGHT FIRST. That is what I think Lynsay’s goal in trying to teach from the book. If Julius just trusted Marguerite’s dictions they would not be in most of the messes they were in. If Marguerite trusted Julius’s judgment or re [...]

    20. >>Diese Rezension und viele mehr findet ihr auch hier: wort-welten/ ZUSAMMENFASSUNG:Mit ihren mehr als siebenhundert Jahren hat Marguerite Argeneau das Bedürfnis, sich noch einmal neu zu erfinden. Eine Privatdetektivin zu werden, stellt sie sich für ihren neuesten Lebensabschnitt als perfekt vor. Gesagt, getan. Doch schon ihr erster Fall lässt Marguerite alsbald an ihrer ach so tollen Berufswahl zweifeln. Schließlich soll sie die Mutter eines Unsterblichen, eines Vampirs, wie auch sie [...]

    21. First warning to those who intend on reading the book: I know it helps keep all the Argeneaus straight, but for the sake of mystery, skip the family tree in the front of the book this time around! Just trust me.In Vampire, Interrupted Lynsay Sands changes her normal scheme up a bit & comes up with what I think is by far the best book in the Argeneau series so far. Normally her books involve one Argeneau or another finding their lifemate in some way or another, getting to know & falling i [...]

    23. Everyone loves Marguerite. I love her. Julius no doubts loves her and every one of her children love her. She's my favorite character for sure. Her story comes as a surprise. I wasn't expecting this much drama and painful plot twists in her life but I can see everything that happened this far has been builidng up for this show. Marguerite went through a hell of a marriage, but her children are her little treasures. She's protective of everyone and the way she manages to make everyone happy is no [...]

    24. The most heavily plotted and mysterious of all the Argeneau books, Vampire, Interrupted (a very apt title) reveals what happened to Margeurite when Thomas and Inez were trying to find her in Vampires Are Forever, and many skeletons come out of the closet in the process. I don't want to give anything away, but sadly the family tree that the books include at the beginning does. You might want to avoid looking at it until, say, halfway through, or the surprise is ruined (though you can probably fig [...]

    25. 4.5 starsThe beginning took me a little while to get into. In the middle of a chapter somewhere past 1/4th of the book, there was a mention of Margarite is Christopher's mother. I was stunned. Why there and then? The story goes on of trying to find Christopher's mom, then finally the news it is Margarite becomes the focal point. And, is Jean Claude really dead? Who would've taken her memories? The last 40% of the book was great. I had a difficult time putting the book down. I suspected one perso [...]

    26. Finally the match maker in the Argeneau clan finds her lifematen!!! This was a cute story about the Argeneau family matriarch, Marguerite, discovering what all her other family members have been enjoyingher very own lifemate, Julius Notte!!She finds she has a five hundred year old son, Christian and with all the other twists and turns in this lovely tale, Marguerite finds a love of her own, in Julius!!There is the usual hot steamy love scenes and even some exciting bites.I so enjoy the Argeneau [...]

    27. This is book 9 in the Argeneau Vampire Series and I loved it.Marguerite Argeneau, in her new role as a private detective, has been asked by Christian Nott to help him find his mother. His father Julius, for his own reasons, won't tell Christian who his mother is.The trip takes her and her assistant Tiny to London, York and to Italy. Someone is trying to kill Marguerite for some unknown reason. This book is happening the same time as the 8th book when Marguerite's nephew Thomas goes to London look [...]
