    1. I have never read a "bad" book by H.A. Ironside. This book is devotional in nature, true to the scriptures, and solid in its exposition. Highly recommended. [The book is not a difficult read. While scholarly it is not for the educational elite- though they would benefit from it. It is warm and readable. It took me so long to read it because as I was teaching through the book of Matthew myself I held myself to only reading one chapter a week]

Those considering buying any in this series should be aware that the more recent paperback and hardcover editions do not include the Bible verses in the text, whereas the older, hardcover editions do.
