    1. Saw this on BN as an ebook for $3.99 and figured I'd give it a shot. I really enjoy her "Vampire Files" series and the collection has 15 short stories from multiple series and stand-alone ones so it seemed like a good value.I enjoyed the stories in this book. You get a lot of them too so it feels more substantial than many short story collections. I was most happy with all the Jack Fleming ("The Vampire Files") stories. They made up the bulk of the collection and I've always enjoyed the series s [...]

    2. The majority of these stories were vampire stories which is what I was expecting. There was only one story in the book that I really didn’t care for and a few were re-workings of ones I had read in different anthologies.

    3. Good variety of short stories, ranging from stories involving characters from P.N. Elrod's own Vampire Files, characters from classic literature, modern day mysteries and futuristic science fiction based on other worlds. Each story built a richly atmospheric setting for the story and although the Vampire Files short stories were plentiful, some only involved the series' secondary characters and they were well spaced throughout the book so it didn't feel like a collection of Jack Fleming stories. 4. this has been an enjoyable collection of short stories. If you are a fan already, there are insights and small stories about characters we love. If you are new to p.n.'s work, these are great entry stories to the novels. Either way, it was thoroughly enjoyable!

    5. It was very nice to read a few more stories about Fleming and to meet some new-to-me characters as well. I was pleasantly surprised by the hard SF story and would gladly read more in that world, too.

    6. Loved the short stories with Vampire files characters. Very creative collection. P N Elrod never disappoints.
