    1. This is a wonderfully illustrated information flap book which uses very simple language to describe the different functions, processes, features involved in different parts of the body. This would be a very useful book to use to introduce any topic which relates to understanding the biology of human body system. However the brief explanations and descriptions may not be so useful if you only intend to focus on one particular function/area of the body. I would say that this book is useful for any [...]

    2. Kupovala jsem pro dceru. Z Usborne rozkrývaček (Peep inside /Look inside/ See inside) je série "see inside" řada pro pokročilejší malé čtenáře.

    3. Genre: InformationalGrade: Early Primary / PrimaryThis is a creative book that explains the human body in a simple and creative way. I love all of the flaps on each page that show deeper in the body, and all of the facts on each page. I love how the book is hands-on with the flaps. The facts are dispersed all over the pages in smaller phrases that are easy to learn and remember. You can really discover and learn so many things on each page. It also shows in certain body systems what is good and [...]

    4. A great book for kids to get interested in the human body, I can't wait for my daughter to learn to read and understand it but for now she likes the pictures and the flaps.

    5. My 3-year-old absolutely loves this! She doesn't understand much English, so I had to translate into Swedish as I read it to her. Later, her father did the same thing, but translated it into Italian and I heard her correcting him on how the kidneys work when he tried to simplify it too much. :-)

    6. I just finished reading this really cool & fun book! Everyone should read it especially for children if they want to learn more about their body this is the right book! I loved it!

    7. This is a wonderful educational book which breaks down various concepts of the human body into simple, easy-to-understand text. Each page spread discusses one of the body’s systems, by covering the main functions of the relevant organs and walking the reader through a step-by-step process. What makes this book unique are the extra little side notes. The author uses these side notes to connect the concepts to everyday occurrences. For instance the first page, Eating & Excreting, discusses h [...]

    8. Hey, another book about the body! I'm so original. For such a short book, this is packed with information. While it is not in-depth, it would more than work for kindergarten, maybe even first grade. We're using it with the Joe Kaufman book. My kids love to lift the bazillion flaps and the pictures are very well done and very informative. The text, while short, is accurate and clear. I don't feel this speaks down to the kids like the other Usborne book does. There is one small section (1/4 of a pa [...]

    13. Colourful, lift-the-flap book for little minds curious about how the body works. The book goes through the different systems of the body, blood, muscles and, of course digestion ( which has caused a few giggles with my little niece regarding eating and excretion!) I expect this book will remain useful as she gets older as, although it is not very detailed with regard to explanations, the illustrations are a very powerful and informative resource as well as good fun. The key here is how attractiv [...]

    16. See Inside your body is a fun-filled picture book that provides wonderful illustrations! This text informs about the human body and provides terminology for what its made of and how the body repairs. On some pages there are flap books that gives readers a clear visual of the human body. For a literacy lesson, I would have students to create a class project that focuses on how does the body react to germs and how we fight those germs off? As a class, they may provide great visuals when presenting [...]

    17. NEVER have my kids been SO excited, inquisitive and interested in a book before! They absolutely LOVE this book. They love to understand what is going on with their bodies. They are fascinated!! I can hardly read it without being interrupted a hundred times with questions and commentary. It's STUPENDOUS!! Engages my 8 year old down to my 3 year old!! They all have bodies and they love to learn about it! Top pick for SURE!

    18. GREAT visual resource for teaching kids about the major body systems. The pictures make it easy to teach a first grader the basics, but the text details make it good for upper elementary students, too. And who doesn't like a book with flaps? They are irresistible to kids who need interaction to learn best. It takes a complex subject and simplifies it in a way that can be used year after year. Love the pictures and bright colors, too! My favorite Body book!

    19. Children in our school LOVE books about the body, and they especially LOVE books about the body with fold-up flaps to see what's inside. This is a durable, detailed exploration of how our bodies work, and while there is a lot of detailed text, both K1s and K2s will crowd around this book in the library, pointing out different surprises to their friends and talking at length about what is happening: "It's germs! It's blood! It's eyes!"

    20. This book was as good as informative books can get. It shows a quite detailed description of what the different parts of your body are, yet it is still very easy to comprehend the language usage, and concepts provided. To help younger readers understand the content, the book is equipped with fun pictures and flaps, to give examples of what certain parts are. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn more about the body, in a quick, fun book adventure.

    21. This book is a very amusing educational book for children. It teaches different main body parts with excellent illustrations. It has over 50 flaps you can lift up to get more information about a particular part. I bought it for a friend's child, but it was so amusing that I ended going through all of it myself, curiously lifting up each flap one by one! The publisher has other "See inside" books that I have already ordered for gifts, but I will surely read them beforehand!

    22. Marshall LOVES this book. I lost count how many times he wanted to read this. It is a big, sturdy, lift-the-flap board book and it's packed with info about your body. The first full page spread about following food through the digestive system had him hooked (you see poop and where it comes out)! Since then, he's had so many other questions and asked for so many other books about the way his body works.

    23. My kids are facinated w this book, and it has brought about some very poignant conversations about the miracle of our bodies, and is another way to show your kids that curiosity about their own and others' bodies is okay and not shameful. It's also an opportunity to show our kids that even if its' sometimes embarassing, they can trust us to be honest and forthright with them.

    24. This is a great book. It is really informative and very interactive with flaps that children can lift and learn more about the human body. I think this would be a great book to have in any age of classroom. The information is great for older students and the younger students would enjoy looking at all of the pictures and lifting the flaps.

    25. "See Inside Your Body" is a wonderful informational book. Every page has a different part of the body and flaps to life to learn more about certain areas. This would be another great book to have as a resource for a class project.

    26. Title: See Inside Your Body (2006)Author's: Katie Daynes and Colin KingAn Usborne Flap BookSummary: This book has 15 pages and over 50 flaps to teach all about your body. This book is great for people who want to learn about their bodies.

    27. A great first book about the body. Flaps make it engaging. Short blocks of text get to the point and share fun facts. Doesn't gloss over the icky stuff like pee, vomit, and poop, but does skip over reproduction. Nice art, including using tinted, enlarged slides of cells for the backgrounds!
