    1. A very useful handbook, with clear guidance on common errors. The introduction is quite extensive and covers much, from drawing materials, doodles, pencil pressure, drawing in a painterly way, and the most essential points for beginners, the three P's : practice, patience and perseverance. The rest of the book is divided into different drawing subjects, such as trees, pets, buildings etc. It inspires, and makes me want to get out a pencil and paper, and a copy of this book.
