    1. A lifelong Pats fanI became a Pats when I was 8 years old, which was 1972. I never understood the game or the team until the late 70's early 80's. I remember when they were the sad sacks of the league with a 1 and 15 record. The book was a good read and insight of who and what kind of team they were before I could understand them for myself. To see their evolution from less than humble beginnings to the powerhouse they are today deepens my feelings as a lifelong fan. Go Pats.

    2. Prior to the days of Kraft, Belichick, and Brady, the Patriots were one of the laughingstocks of the NFL. Now they are considered one of it's best teams. Mike Felger (current radio co-host of the afternoon show on 98.5 The Sports Hub in Boston) does a good job of tracking the Patriots history, from their early days in the AFL, to the hoisting of three Lombardi trophies in early 2000s, all with colorful commentary and stories of the obscene! Perfect for the passionate Patriots fan
