    1. Oh, I did enjoy Frozen. From the sexy but chilly cover to the very last hot word. Often fantasy stories can leave me feeling a little muddled or I struggle to keep up with the author’s vivid imagination. But not with this one. Ms Holmes has a wonderful way of presenting new concepts and worlds which make it so real and so believable that it’s very hard to stop turning those pages.Awni is a great character. I felt for her living such a lonely existence and although it was a little predictable [...]

    2. Never have I HEARD the drip, drip, drip of icicles plopping because of such anticipated intense heat but looked around and found nothing but the still bitter cold of the frozen landscape staring back at me.Kat Holmes has brought winter into vivid life by creating a land of perpetual cold where the world of Artica may be cast in nothing more temperate than snow and ice, but beneath the frost there's a lot of passion, a lot of steam, and a whole lot of fire about to break loose. None surprisingly [...]

    3. Although this little fantasy takes place in a frozen world, I found it very heartwarming. It's a new twist on the classic tale of forbidden love. I enjoyed it so much I read it twice.

    4. Frozen was a well written short novella that absolutely felt like a complete story. You felt Awni's plight as the untouchable ice woman. But, I absolutely loved the fact Brent was able to touch her where no one else could. It was so incredibly sweet. And who knew that stodgy old Elric actually had a heart of gold underneath. For those of you who love stories about gods and goddesses and enjoy books that feel like modern fairytales, you will definitely enjoy this book!

    5. I loved the plot - Life in the Artica. Ruled by a god and a queen. Life is simple, that is, until a mortal arrives in the secluded kingdom. A kingdom ruled by tradition. Sometimes, traditions need changed, but is change possible???Kat takes the reader for a ride through the eyes of Queen Awni and Brent with a few chuckles along the way. A guy with a heart and a woman naive to the ways of the 'normal world'
