    1. A wonderful slice of life growing up in the fictional town of Porthmawr in North Wales in the 1930s. The plot revolves around two friends, Lew and Gladstone, and their gang of friends and family members. An old inhabitant of the town returns and finds the gang on his dilapidated boat in the harbour. He, Ashton, a fairly charming drunk, is befriended by them especially by Gladstone. The rest of the townsfolk are not so enamoured of him and would rather he hadn't returned.     2. This was well written and flowed nicely. Narrated by Lew Morgan it was consistent throughout. It is set in North Wales during the 1930s are describes the events of one summer when a drunkard returns and the boys befriend him.
